static cling?

you know, there's something I've been meaning to say. guys are clingy. but not in the typical sense of clingy.. in the sense of CLINGY, like they cling to the feeling rather then the person. My question is are people really attracted to the person? or are they attracted to the idea? hmm.. compelliing
